The Active Voice: the subject is the doer of the action:
Active Voice > subject verb object
Cats eat rats.
Everybody drinks water.
The Passive Voice: the subject receives the action of the verb:
Note: The object of the active verb becomes the subject of the Passive
verb:

Rats are eaten by cats.
